Youth Mission Trip

Youth Mission Trip is to South Carolina again this summer. It will be from July 11th-July 18th. Expected cost will be $100. We will start signing up for the trip this weekend. Please use this forum for your commitment and/or questions.

Choices

It is quite interesting to see anyone, let alone a college bound football star speak so bodly about how God is leading his life. Do we allow him in that close to make the decisions for us?

What now?

Is boredom really a choice????

Not everyone thought so on Sunday night. Nobody seemed to have a problem with it the week before. Well, it is something to think about. Feel free to voice your opinion and state your reasons. The scripture we talked about on Sunday was Proverbs 30:1-9. Every word of God proves true. How do we stand in truth when we are not in His Word? For as it states in John 1, the Word became flesh. How do we tap into this resource? This is open for discussion. Please voice your opinions.

Are you really bored?

This week we learned something about what boredom really is.....

it is the state of being weary and restless through lack of interest. Hmmm....that really means that you can not be bored if you are interested. So, it really becomes a choice. The same is true about your faith. In James it clearly states that faith without deeds is dead! Our scripture reference was James 2:15-26. How are you acting out your faith? Comments are clearly welcomed.

It has been a while

Ok, we are back on the blog....
What were the three things we are to ask ourselves?

1. How approachable are you if someone comes to you in love to point out a fault in your life?

2. How willing are you to go to someone in love and point out a problem that you see going on in their life?

3. Where are you in your relationship with God? How often do you spend time with Him?

Please feel free to post anything that deals with thiese three questions. The idea is to open a dialogue to explore these things at a deeper level of understanding. Something you post might help someone else.
